Junior Class Raises Money for Friends of Homeless Animals (FOHA) as Class Project
By Emma L. ’24, Class Historian
The Junior Class charity this year is Friends of Homeless Animals. FOHA’s mission is to provide a safe haven for abused and abandoned animals, provide food, shelter, medical care, rehabilitation, and many other things FOHA believes in. This local charity strives to make a difference for abandoned animals. This past school year, the Junior Class helped FOHA by volunteering on-site to make dog treats and toys. We want to support these animals with shelter, compassion, and eventually a permanent home.
Members of the Class of 2024, including Emmy Q. and Juliana R., appreciated the help from students in other grades like sophomore Anila S., who were great helpers with on-site volunteering opportunities at FOHA.
Anais P. '26 and Ishika G. '24 prep snacks for furry friends up for adoption.
Priscilla C. '26 sorts through toys collected for the FOHA animals.
Caroline W. '26 and Priscilla measure food out from donated supplies.
What are Juliana and Anila making? Something the FOHA animals will surely enjoy!
Many thanks to all the FOHA volunteers, and to the Junior Class for its yearlong philanthropic project!
